About Moto
David Moto is a retired performance artist, sometimes attorney and business consultant, collector/dealer of art and antiquities, gearhead, geek, motorcycle enthusiast, hotrodder, bibliophile, antiquarian, and full-time metaphysician.
In my professional work I spend countless hours wrestling with problems that, ultimately, cannot be resolved. Is it any wonder that I find solace in wrenching on old vehicles? To work with one’s hands, and tackle problems that can actually be fixed, is for me, a necessary counterpart to my intellectual activities.
Sometimes, late at night in the garage covered with oil, grease, gasoline and my own blood surrounded by tools and parts, determined to breathe life into a broken vehicle older than myself, I find peace.
